Real Impact with Big Ideas
Our technology is built on a deep-tech foundation that begins at the materials and device level. We develop semiconductor sensing platforms from scratch, including the synthesis of advanced nanomaterials, cleanroom fabrication of indium oxide nanoribbon structures, and transistor-based sensor architectures. By controlling the entire process, from material growth and device design to microfabrication and characterization—we are not constrained by off-the-shelf sensors or third-party hardware.
This vertical integration is our competitive edge. Because we design and fabricate the sensing architecture ourselves, we can tune material properties, device geometries, transistor configurations, surface interfaces, and system performance for specific applications.
At the core of our technology is a simple but powerful idea, future sensing systems should not function as passive data collectors. We believe they should combine high-performance sensing materials, engineered device architectures, biological recognition interfaces, electronics, and AI-powered interpretation into one integrated system. Clinical performance depends on the full sensing stack, not only on the sensor material, the biological receptor, or the algorithm alone. We are therefore building a platform where the sensing hardware, biological interface, signal acquisition, data processing, and health-intelligence layer are designed together.
Our Team
Our team is led by Dr. Mohammed R. Amer, a full professor and director of the Biosensing and Therapeutic Innovations National program at KACST. Dr. Amer combines world-class scientific expertise with significant startup and innovation ecosystem experience. In addition to leading advanced research programs in biosensors and semiconductor technologies, he previously served as the Director of BADIR Biotechnology, Saudi Arabia’s first biotechnology incubator and accelerator program, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and commercialization partners to help transform innovative technologies into viable businesses. His leadership experience across research, innovation, and entrepreneurship enables us to bridge the gap between breakthrough science and commercial impact.
Our core team includes Shahad Albawardi, Sarah Alsaggaf, and Dr. Abdullah Alrasheed, who bring the multidisciplinary expertise needed to develop, validate, and scale our technology platform. Together, we have extensive experience in advanced materials, sensor development, device engineering, testing, and product-focused research. Our combined backgrounds enable us to rapidly translate scientific discoveries into practical solutions while maintaining a strong foundation in product performance, reliability, and innovation. We have hands-on experience working with cutting-edge sensing technologies and advanced manufacturing processes, providing the technical depth required to support future product development and commercialization.
We are further strengthened by the support of Prof. Chongwu Zhou one of the world’s leading researchers in advanced materials and sensor technologies. Dr. Zhou provides strategic technical guidance and access to world-class expertise in scalable technology development, helping ensure that we remain at the forefront of innovation.
